Want to work with us as an intern or supervisee?

We are looking for grad students or therapists interested in working in a private practice that specializes in treating male and female sex/love addicts and their partners, individually and relationally. We have developed our own model of treatment that views addictive behaviors and trauma responses through the lens of a connective disorder, allowing us to address the behaviors and the underlying trauma and attachment issues, along with relational connection. Our model is outlined in the book In Tandem by Mark Bird, available through our office or on Amazon.

We will provide you with training in this model, supervision by an LMFT Supervisor, office space, client referrals, and marketing. We are looking for candidates willing to work individually with clients, participate in cotherapy for couples’ sessions, lead groups for addicts and for partners of addicts, and run couples’ workshops. The schedule will be flexible, but some evening and Saturday hours will be required.
